People = Shit (part 1)
I give up... there is no hope for Humans as a race...None.

Forgive me for straying from my usual, at least somewhat light hearted, rants about usually frivolous matters which probably only piss me off, but i feel that the following matters should not go unnoticed. I have given up on any hope for the Human race in general. The recent event of the suburban Metro area have pushed me over the edge and reconfirmed all previous grudges against humanity. "What are these events which you speak of?" you may ask. So I will lay it out for those of you who may be reading from outside the metro Atlanta area. First off a wonderful story of hypocrisy, closed mindedness, and anti-Semitism (a 'nonsensical' word according to a post on the discussion board by member of the church to be discussed).. no its not the holocaust.... but it still sucks major ass. Recently a baccalaureate service for a suburban high school was relocated from Mount Bethel United Methodist Church, aka monument to nazi-esque hatred, to the Cobb county civic center. "No big deal there man, why the harsh words?" you may ask. Well, the "Minister" (of hate) of said "church" laid his divinely inspired foot down and refused to allow the keynote speaker, a prominent local Rabbi, to enter his church due to the fact that the man was a "nonbeliever." Holy living shit. If ever there has been a better display of "Christian" intolerance and bigotry I don't think ive ever seen it. The "minister" claims that the church is dedicated to Christ and that allowing a non-Christian to speak would be a dishonor. For the love of God, Allah, or whomever you pray to, Its not like the guy was going to give a speech "preaching" the evils of Jesus and Christianity and try to convert the congregation to Judaism. It's a friggin baccalaureate service. This basically = "congratulations of graduating high school without being shot by your classmates. good luck in the rest of your life." Then the (hate) minister tries to make it look like he's being prosecuted by the man for standing up for his beliefs... the beliefs that the virtues of Christian intolerance (is that redundant?) should live and be instilled into our children. "I am not obliged nor are you to sacrifice our faith in order to accommodate the faith of non-Christians".... fuck. Its not like he's asking you to burn your crucifix or slaughter your lamb and smear its blood over your door, he's giving a motivational speech. Shit. In conclusion I am very pissed off about this even though it has no direct connection or relevance to me or my life. The only plus side to this event is that it was on the news so maybe some half minded folks out there will see what an intolerant ass this guy is.
